Stained glass 1
The stained glass technique is very old, but
it is more popular today than ever. Thanks to new
materials and a very large variety of tools, the creation of
stained glasses is now accessible to
all. Stained glass does not belong only to churches any more,
it creates cordial
decorations in many houses.
Learn how to control the art of the stained
glass and thus raise your decoration with the
colors of your personality. You will learn the method developed
by Louis Comfort Tiffany,
the copper foil, in a warm environment and a relaxing place,
at La Galerie du Verrier.
This course allows you to learn how to glass,
how to grind, to wrap glass with copper, to weld
and complete the stained glass. You will be able thereafter
to create your own projects.
The course include three lessons for a total
of 12 hours. All the material is provided as
well as a free period of 10 working hours in our workshop, after
the ending of your course.

In this course, you will realise your own project of an higher
difficulty level.

Leaded came stained glass (Prerequisite:
Stained Glass 1)
Learn a different technique this other course.
This course will teach you a method quite as interesting to
create your own stained glasses. Generally used for the outdoor
stained glasses, this technique is more resistant to the bad
weather.The pieces of glass are assembled using metal stems
then sealed with a cement. .
This course is also a 12 hours duration distributed
over three periods.

Mosaïc
The creation of mosaic is an activity with decorative
goal as well as functional in which one
must assemble various pieces of glass on various surfaces. In
this course you will see
amongst other things the flagstone of cement and decoratives
objects.
This course last about 8 to 10 hours and is usually given over
two visits.

Painting on glass
You have a creative imagination, fantastic! We
have the ideal course for you! Paint on glass
allows you to do false stained glasses panels, pretty painting
or simply decorating your glass
objects, and this at low cost and requiring only a few tool.
The course enables you to learn
easy ways to create masterpieces with or without cooking. And
about cooking, it is enough
to have a conventional oven and you are ready to create!
This course is accessible to all, even the least skilful in
drawing can realise true works of art.
It is also available for children, in this case they paint on
plexiglass for a matter of security.
This course last about 10 to 12 hours spread over three visits.
